It looks like the Gov't might be able to hit those born in Australia and only have Australian Citizenship if they leave the country.

That would be an interesting move.

The koran is currently held in the esteem by its followers, that the christian bible was held in, 1000 years ago.

Neither have ever shown that they were a cause for good, without factoring in the overarching evil contained within as well.

No, it was implied that they talked flags instead of content.

All I pointed out was that they commented on flags as an aside while waiting for the speech.  That would have occured regardless of who was PM.   As most people would when they turn up at such an event and they're looking at a podium and the back drop while waiting for the PM to arrive to give his speech.

Man Minus was reported 18 times to the terrorist hotline but nothing was done. Any further crack down will have very little actual effect as we still live in lazy half assed Australia. People don't do their job properly in this country and having new extra tough laws won't make much difference except for when they get the information wrong and put the wrong guys photo on the front page of the papers claiming their a terrorist. One thing for certain is there will be mire stuff ups and failures.

Only small proportion of Muslims are radical fanatics.  Most take out of Koran what suits them just as Christians take what suits them from the bible. 

I find it interesting that OP applauds TA's new "hate speech"  powers, because he might find that anti Muslim (or any other group) hate speech is included.

The phony argument that only a small fraction of muslims are radical terrorists or support radical terrorism is not correct in any sense.

 There are over 50 billion muslims in the world ( but don't quote me  on that) and if 1 in 100 fall into the category of radical terrorist. Well do the math it's in the millions.

Add the many who secreatly support radical terrorism is even higher.
