with the Folio books, sometimes they pop up on eBay, but they usually appreciate in value.
they also tend to be printed then disappear after a while, but the Fairy books have stayed in print for ages.
I buy when they have half price sales or special offers, where if you buy four books you get a free set. That kind of thing.
the first time you buy they have introductory offers which are worth a look. There are minimum books to buy to get freebies, but other than that, it isn't a requirement to buy so many a year or anything.
being a member just means they send you offers now and then.

Am, your photo - we had tea in a little restaurant across the road from your grass - can't remember the name but we both really liked it, we were staying at the hotel on the water there.

thanks Lurker. I only took two shots and got it right on the second shot. Often I have to take about 8 shots to get one I like.

I have had breakfast at that hotel, with lovely views over the harbour (a Thai restaraunt was in that space previously). It is a great spot.
The grass isn't looking too green at present. There were lots of brown spots and thin spots. I had hoped to get more of the grassed area in the photo, but it was a bit patchy.

The restaurant wasn't in the hotel, it was next door on the street directly across from the water, it was small, great food and service, Italian.
