This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Thanks, Stawks, that's a wonderful feelgood video.
Yes, just a little light reading... ha ha...
And something more, to brighten the afternoon... ha ha...

And for good measure... an awful pun, ha ha...

The joys of sharing my living space with goldfish...
"I'm hiding in the tunnel.."...
"Yes, I can see you there, hiding in the tunnel..."...
"I'm watching you..."...
"Yes, yes.. I can see that, too..."...
"I'm hiding in the tunnel..."....
"That's good... I'm going over here, now.."... ha ha...

I've been out the front, enjoying what little sunshine and blue sky there is today, ha ha...
I had an amusing conversation with the bloke from over the street, quite literally, over the street, ha ha...
He's doing his fourteen days, and by his own admission is getting a bit tired of reading and sleeping, to pass the time.
He asked me if I'd read anything about Turmeric being touted as a "fix-it" for Coronavirus, after all, it wasn't that many months ago that it was the be all and end all of miracle cures for a wide range of ailments...
I can see I'll have to consult the Internet to see what the all wise and the all knowing have to say on the subject... ha ha...
It was good to have a chat with someone, however brief, and even in such strange circumstances.
I sometimes wonder if the World's ever going to be the same, as it was, again, or is this a foretaste of what will become the new normal.
No more chatting over the fence, now it'll be chatting over the street, ha ha...

I bought a set of telescopic handle loppers, imagine heavy duty secateurs with long handles, from Aldi last week with the intention of taking to some of the trees, hereabouts, and giving them a bit of a trim.
The wind's blowing a treat, this afternoon... I'm hoping the outcome won't be one of taking to a fallen tree with a hand saw, rather than clipping it back a bit...
It'd sort of defeat the purpose of getting the loppers in the first place, ha ha...
And the fish is still in the tunnel...
I made the mistake of walking past it with a glass in my hand...
It stirred, slightly - "That's cylindrical... Fish food comes in a cylindrical container... Does this mean you're going to feed me?".. ha ha...
There's never a dull moment, ha ha...

Breakfast time!
Or the onset of dusk, to anyone else, ha ha...
It's 10.8 degrees... the "Feels Like" temperature, however, is 3.3 degrees...
It's no wonder that little See is darting from the relative warmth of the house doorway to the platform where breakfast is, and then back...
Back and forth... ha ha...
She did stop long enough to ask me why she can't have an electric heat pad in the house...
Okay, how do I talk my way out of this? Ha ha..
Umm... We don't have an extension cord long enough to reach...
She gave me "That" look, she's learnt that from her mother, ha ha, and left it at that.
I can tell she's not entirely satisfied with my answer... ha ha...
If the false Spring that we get towards the end of the Winter is anything to go by - roughly two weeks of glorious sunshine and warm days, before the snows return to blanket the back hills and plunge us back into miserable cold, then this cold blast, hopefully, will also pass, given time.
Fingers crossed...
Actually, hang on, I'll have to go and hold my fingers in front of the heater to warm them up enough before I can cross them, ha ha...
A fortnight from now, after there's a been a decent dumping of snow, the sun will come out again, and the little mountain streams will turn from trickles to torrents.
The leaves, here, will turn gold and purple and I will stand in the pale shadow of a tree, and shiver slightly in the cool air, and I will think of you and how good it would be if you were here, with me.
But you will not be, such is the tyranny of distancing.
(I know, You saw what I did there, ha ha...).

Carnivorous is an anagram of coronavirus...
Food for thought, unless, of course, you're the food... ha ha...
Yet another cheerful thought in these otherwise difficult times.
Keep smiling, it keeps them guessing...

What if the Government was to bring in mandatory testing for people who flout social isolation rules?
It's been proved, time and again, that those quick and easy blood test kits can't be relied upon, so what other options are available...?
