This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

It brings to mind the question, in this time of self isolation, will it be Celebrate Easter, or Celibate Easter? ha ha...
Once again, move along, move along... ha ha...

While watering the front yesty the pom next door wanted to talk, lol, i'd step back as he got closer, then he would creep up again (nearly lost it) reckoned he's at arms length, but they advise 6 feet apart now!

I was hugely amused by the footage on the ABC News, this morning of shoppers taking advantage of a local supermarket being open early - They Had -Toot Paper!!
There won't be any there, now... ha ha... It'll be too late in the day for that...
But it was good to see that life is slowly crawling back to something akin to normal...
I'm waiting for the afternoon rain to arrive.
Of course it's been raining... It's Easter Friday, in Canberra...
Usually the good citizenry would be winding their way down Clyde mountain on their way to their holiday homes, on the coast.
A long and winding road it is, indeed... Hard on the brakes on the way down, in near bumper to bumper traffic, and imaginably, just as hard on the clutch, on the way back up...
But it's a nice drive, if you get a chance to glance at the passing scenery... ha ha...
I'll put in a good word in for Bungendore, too.
It's village sized, but a great place to stop for a smoko before tackling the mountain, ahead.
Or indeed calm one's shattered nerves after surviving the two lane road, there and back, and the overtaker/undertakers who just have to get to the head of the pack at any cost....
I'm sure that double yellow/white lines mean something, somewhere,.. but obviously not there...
It can be a bit of a hairy experience, cresting a hill, only to be faced with a car coming straight towards you, on your side of the road...
It's all a bit too reminiscent of Mad Max, for me, ha ha...
On the growing apples front, maybe putting the seedlings out for a bit of sun, and fresh air, wasn't the best idea - a couple of decent downpours over the last week or two seem to have put paid to that idea...
I reckon the best I can do is pick up, start again, repeat the process, but this time plant the seedlings out, directly in place, and see how how cruelly Nature can thwart my plans, this time, ha ha..
I'm envisaging an early, heavy frost...
She's one of a kind, Nature, a gal with a sense of humour like no other... ha ha...
I hope you're enjoying your extended weekend, so far.
And, as if I need to say it, stay safe, be good...

It's like the road through Kangaroo valley - You cannot imagine how good the pub at Berry looks, after you've ridden that road on a motorbike, in the teeming rain, while shepherding a relativity new L plater, also on a motorbike...
It bordered on sheer bliss... I didn't quite tear my helmet off and kiss the ground where I stood, but gee it came close, ha ha...
There's few things funnier than the sight of the L plater, now safely under cover, unzipping their "Waterproof" jacket, and watching the cascade of water fall out... ha ha...
Well, they were the one that wanted the wild, free, adventurous life of the motorcyclist.... ha ha...
When we were young, we had fun...
Nowdays we'd rent a car for the trip home, ha ha...
Somewhere along the line we grew old and soft sensible, ha ha...
