I was amused by this morning's pre dawn squeak-fest...
It looks like Mother possum was exercising her claim to the old possum house...
It really is only big enough for one and a half possums - Mum and Bub, not Mum and Overgrown, "Shouldn't you have struck out on your own, and left by now?" offspring...
Little See, her daughter, has been staying there the last couple of nights, ha ha...
Mother got up this evening, from Her house, and though I waited another five minutes or so, See didn't appear...
There is always the possibility that she's simply sulking in one of the other houses, of course, ha ha...
How time passes... I remember when she was a tiny little thing, clinging to her mother for dear life, staring wide eyed at the world around her, and How Big it was... ha ha...
A boy possum slept in the palm tree, today.
He "talks", and sometimes I don't know if it's to himself, or to an audience, much like a Shakespearean actor - you don't only get the dialogue, but you get the internal monologue, as well.
It's entertaining, all the same, ha ha...
