This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

It got to 9.5 degrees this afternoon... at half past two... talk about it being a bit chilly...
Being a cold day meant wall to wall cockatoos... I could barely move for the horde of adoring little faces looking up at me, while still managing to scurry around at my feet, ha ha...
Moving proved to be a bit of a challenge... getting the cockatoo carpet to part, before me... there was lots of feet shuffling and "Come on... Move yourselves"... ha ha...
Finally I held the box of food out in front of me, at arm's length, because I had an inkling that they weren't here to see me... ha ha...
And it worked like a treat... ha ha...
It's the usual birds, and their friends who came up here during the fires at the beginning of the year, who have learnt that life in suburbia means good pickings, and have decided to stick around... ha ha...
It's an old photo, so you'd have to imagine that there was this, and then some... ha ha...
I'd forgotten that some of them think that standing on my feet is a perfectly acceptable way of showing affection, or of getting my attention... ha ha...
Usually they just yell for me... one or two of them have discovered that making a sound that sounds a lot like "DAD!!" gets my attention, too, ha ha...

No. In the end I decided that I'd schedule that for tomorrow.
It might not be a good look if I were to drive up to the shops followed a shrieking, hooting entourage... "He's going to the shops! That's where he gets the food! Don't let him out of your sight!!"... ha ha...
There's shades of the Pied Piper in that, only it's them that whistle the tune, and it's me that dances to it, ha ha...

"I was foraging about in the garden and I found something... Should I be worried...? "... ha ha ...

I like, from time to time, to amuse myself with temporal paradoxes...
Could I take something that exists now, back in time with me?
Would it remain the same, or would it revert to it's "original state" - would I end up with a handful of dust, molecules, yet to take form...?
What existed in the past can exist in it's future, the fossil record, for instance, shows that to be true, but can something that has been created, and exists in the present, exist in the past, in the same form?
A paradox, indeed... ha ha...
I think it would be amusing, if I could take something from the here and now, back with me...
But would J.S. Bach appreciate this rendition of his Sinfonia cantata #29, in all it's audio-visual splendour...?
Perhaps this rendition would be more to his liking.. ha ha....

Existing now - returning to the past - I hope your jeans don't disintegrate on arrival.

I did have some concerns about the way the synthetic fibres in my clothes might behave, but it also occurred to me that the micro-plastics, the tiny particles that I had ingested over the years, would also "revert to type"...
Where did synthetics, plastics originate?
If I picked my moment I might "become" a truly magnificent creature...
Either that, or compressed black sludge, ha ha....
I think I might leave time travel to the Sci-Fi writers, ha ha...

And while we're all busy looking at Victoria...
We might take a moment to pay attention to what's happening "in our own back yard"...
