A week or so ago, if you'd said "Pale pink, sort of salmon pink, almost orange galah" I would have said "Yeah, sure...".
That's what I would have said, a week or so ago.
But now I've seen one, I'm less prone to being sceptical. 
It's the strangest thing. It came in, one afternoon, had something to eat, and then off it went.
I haven't seen it, since, but I'm glad I did.

It happens every year. People go away, and the birds come here.
They have to go somewhere, I suppose.
Somehow I can't imagine someone loading the car to go away, and making room on the back seat for a wild cockatoo, although I can see the road trip, though - "Bird! Stop chewing your travel cage! If you don't behave yourself I'm turning this car around...!".
