This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

We were camping on the Murray
and were cooking a big pot
Of yabbies and one on the
Top jumped out twice.
So I gave it another chance
And threw it back in the
River

The next time someone tries to make you feel like you're a bad person, you think of that yabby.
It's living proof that you're one of the good ones.

I've always been ready to admit that I love animals.
Some of them are delicious.

It's a beautiful sunny day, there might be rain, later, but I reckon I've got a good couple of hours to not go down to the lawns by the lake and fly a kite.
It's something I used to enjoy doing, but I cut my hand wood carving, some years back, and the little and ring fingers on my left hand don't work so well, anymore, so I can't handle kite strings properly.
I'd probably end up spending most of my time trying to get the kite to fly, or retrieving it after it had fallen from the sky, or waiting for the wind to pick up, or trying to dodge Saturday afternoon joggers...
I can see it turning into trudging up and down in the blazing sun, winding endless lengths of kite string, and trying to convince myself of how much fun it used to be...
The silly things I did when I was young...

It must require a great
Deal of practice and skill
To master the art of
Syncronised kiting as
You have done in that
Picture ecar

Yes... Practice, skill, patience, copious amounts of the kind of language I wouldn't use in front of my Mother...

When you did.
Otherwise I dont think anyone would believe
You lol

That's someone else's pic. Every time I tried to take a pic I'd let go of the string and the whole lot would come crashing down.
It made for a spectacular sight, but not along the lines of "Hey look, I can fly a kite".
Another thing to keep in mind when flying a kite is that the fine, braided nylon strings don't take it well if you're trying to smoke at the same time.
