this mornings desperate spamfest is a good indicator of the panic in the Right wing camp. far from being the abbott utopia they imagined , the signs are all there of a short stay for the current PM with the place falling apart around him..
the only positive for abbott so far is his ability to grovel to hugh and debra lee in the vain hope that the power of celebrity may boost his rapidly sinking popularity. good luck with that, fiddling while rome burns .

There doesn't seem to be a here and now for the Labor party, thanks to the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd circus...

I'm curius to know who these "stars" are that Gillard supposedly hitched her wagon to.
I remember her going on that Learn To Cook show with Guy Grossi...and the photoshoot in the Woman's Weekly knitting a toy kangaroo lol

That photo shoot with the elite 'stars' and Abbott re overseas adoption was just that. The average couple, who are unable to have children of their own, can't afford to adopt a child overseas.

Surely, the following sort of 'its a secret' behaviour (in many areas) is going to bite them in the future.
Free trade agreements have the potential to deliver tremendous benefits for Australian consumers, workers and businesses – but whether this potential is realised depends on the quality of the deals which governments negotiate.
Until this week, the government had been bluntly refusing to release the text of the Korea Australia Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA) for public scrutiny before it signs the final deal. Now the Coalition has belatedly accepted the need for transparency, Labor will examine KAFTA to ensure it is in Australia’s national interest. The tests we will apply are straight-forward.

And then theres Julie Bishop - worst Foreign Minister yet?
Nov 2013
Australia risks becoming embroiled in another diplomatic spat in Asia, with China warning there will be consequences if Foreign Minister Julie Bishop does not withdraw criticism of a new air defence zone in the East China Sea.
