Loved Jim's van; it is the funniest thing I have seen in ages. Still laughing as I type.

Mini are bringing bout a new hatch-back in March and a 2Lt JCW version towards the end of the year. I have chosen my model and the colour is red or blue ( trying to lose the go faster stripes) with a white roof ( not a sunroof in a fit ) to reduce thermal load.
Like you and IF, a cheerful body colour is a must for myself, however, lime green seems to be a tradie sports car dreamin vehicle.

just had a peek at the mini colour chart and like other car makers these days they don't give you much of a exterior colour choice
well.. if you like their red or blue shades then thats fine
i doubt i would order a new GT86 due their colour range, i like orange but not theirs. i could go for the red but i want to stay away from that colour
and even though lime green is accepted now, i would never have another one (always hated the colour for a car
when buying my A9Xs, frog greens were cheaper then the other coloured A9xs
didnt care at the time.. i just wanted the model for what the car was and put up with it

Get an orange paint that goes with the red though 🙂
There are orange toned reds where it could look great, but not so much with blue toned reds.
i saw a red truck today with bright orange guards that looked great
i reckon minimal orange would look good on the bottom parts of a red vehicle
a different colour on top of my car would need to come down to the level of the protective strips to make it look proper
they'd be too much orange on top - over kill
wonders if theres a program online for colour ideas for your car? (still thinking burgundy - maroon. a shade they came out with

I have a Red car, i think Grey or Silver car tone in to the road and when it is raining are hard to see.
Only problem I think birds seem to poo more on red cars 🙂

When I bought my car about six years ago, the salesman said the silvers are the bestseller, and have better resale value. I believe that is still the case.
i didnt know that, good point girl
but i'll stay away from all metalics, they don't fair well for aussie climates
lion, doves will make the effort to fly into my garage just to s... on my car, lol
