I don't think anyone could convinve me/others in my area or other people living with similar services (or lack of) that we don't need a new NBN service.
NBN - 120GB (50 peak/70 off Peak), landline via NBN (using existing telephone) $45.44(excl GST) per month
Previous plan: ADSL 20GB & landline $110 per month (incl GST). (Landline was $57, telstra resale customers)

I guess i mean to say it isn't hooked up yet. there will be a price to pay i'm sure, especially as telstra will likely gain a monopoly by stealth (and not so stealthy free kicks) and ruin what was a good idea.
