And we can only hope that the LNP will change their minds, will listen to reason and implement the NBN.

and for those who do not understand how much difference it would make, and are unsure about the bits and bytes, and the difference between FTTP and FTTN

there are businesses in this rollout area who have spent considerable amounts of money preparing for a promised fibre connection, and i suspect the case is the same in other areas where it was promised. abbotts ant- business stance is nonsensical, and at odds with his own partys pro-business stance. his only real reason is to make any labor policy fail as an issue of partisan stupidity.. the cost of his 'plan' will exceed labors by many billions in the long term.

So show us some references and not UTube nonsense. I think that "your" 28th is quite fair considering that we do not have a NBN, yet!
"the drop could have been the result of our regional neighbours getting broadband at a faster rate than we are."
The above is to be expected with the snail-pace roll-out of the current NBN

The Liberal plan would take less time and cost less and only be a little slower in internet speed than the Labor plan.
the maintenance costs will see it exceed the cost of a genuine fibre network . totally pointless except for electioneering. turnbull himself puts his money into fibre networks overseas, he's laughing at us.

And they wont be replaced because, some day, some government is going to replace them all with something else anyway.
thats an australia-wide problem. fibre would see it gone.

LL: " the cost of his 'plan' will exceed labors by many billions in the long term."
Show us a balance sheet to confirm that LL (assuming you can find NBN costings for the next decade)
What speed do you think businesses (including the 750,000 small ones) require to operate, assuming they are not watching streaming HD 720p TV all the time?
