And we can only hope that the LNP will change their minds, will listen to reason and implement the NBN.

and for those who do not understand how much difference it would make, and are unsure about the bits and bytes, and the difference between FTTP and FTTN

My previous service did too much because it was wireless
so the FTTN was before this?

Ibis - you have selectively quoted from my post. I also posted I have had an NBN service for 12 mths (up until Nov 2012). I never claimed to have the NBN service currently, although expect do so again soon.
As far as I am aware, from the posters on the forum there is only Freaki that has a current NBN service.

Well, he would use it if he had more data ( and most likely would have more data on an NBN plan for the same cost or less than current plan). poddster wrote: Its not that it is slow it is that if i watch utube my data allocation runs out.
I went from about 20GB ADSL (not ADSL 2, not avail) to 50GB peak & 70 GB off peak with NBN for less than what it cost before per month. Plus$15 for landline, plus 10 times faster than what I had before (without paying extra for a speed pack).

how is it possible to have a saving of $1,500 per year when the service that was replaced only costs $1320.00?
