The only "hot rod" type car that ever got me going was this one.
I drive this road (and the others the film was made on), they are as good as in the movie
Just down the road from my place in Spotswood.

463 cubic inch rat motor....
You didn't run that in the "Trans Am" series ! lol, and save for "my pictures" folder.
Center Line Auro Drag wheels? have those on a Ranger.
Workshopping an idea to paint the front of the truck onto the back.. Got the idea from a truck at a car show with the bed removed and another nose planted on the frame. The Coming/Going Truck.. I'm not tearing the bed off so I'll just paint it on there.

Scene where the cars drive through the Caravan was on the way to Williamstown. I think it was Kororoit Road but will have to check.
The roads with the bikes at high speed were near Little River / You Yangs. Farrars Road, Ripley Road. The scene where the bikes go off the bridge is XXXXXXXX, sorry it's Kirk Bridge Road.
The scene where he burns the bloke chained to the car is in the area as I have driven down that hill, I just can't remember exactly where it is.
One part was also filmed on the other side of the Highway, like Point Wilson Road (look at a map).
The Car Park scene with the car was filmed at I think the car park at Melbourne University.
The hills in the background of the first photo are the You Yangs, photo taken on Ripley Road just up from the junction of Kirk Bridge Road. If you look at street view, you can see the same image, just with Green grass all over.
