I quite like the sudden cool changes we experience, I don't remember them before in the middle of summer.

Oh dear 😞  now that's a worry.  When I was a kid growing up in Sydney the very very hot days were eventually cooled down by what was known as The Southerly Buster... if we listened on the radio (no TV :^O) when it hit Wollongong it would be announced and as it moved up the coast it would get hotter and hotter....

The air would get thicker and the radio would suddenly announced "it's reached Bondi" then there were only moment before it would hit Sydney and the Northern Suburbs and the wind would rush through... cold and beautiful, dropping the temperatures by anything up to 20˚

 The other point being that this is not a party-political issue. sure the libs have largely been in the denial camp, but that's mostly for the sake of point scoring, not policy. after all the carbon tax was liberal policy . the only liberal with a chance of serving more than a term in office is Turnbull, and he doesn't agree with all you flat earther liberals thats for sure.
