where is freedom

The only way to even try to maintain freedom is to not let them take away your firearms. How many free countries disallow its citizens to own firearms.

Re: where is freedom

I'm used to being accused of things I didn't do, call the police like everybody else, seems to be a growing trend.

Re: where is freedom

It's strange how the people that are suppose to be protecting us are the one's killing the people.

More Australians have been killed by police than terorists and crimials committing crime put together

something to think about

The gun control laws only stopped SuzannaHupp from being able to save her mommy and daddy. She regrets not being a criminal on that day.Thats sad, very sad when good law abiding people have to regret not being a criminal.

Why would she think that she woud have been able to get her gun out without getting a bullet between her eyes?  And even if she or others were able to get their guns why would you think that they would manage to hit the shooter, and not another innocent person?  It is one thing to shoot at target on firing range than under severe pressure in life and death situation, I bet Suzanna would be shaking so badly she would not hit her target.

And by the way, who said that in Europe people cannot own guns?  That is a total rubbish; in Switzerland, Finland and most other European countries there are more than here, but they are strictly controlled & licensed.

Your asking me questions that are already answered in the video I posted, Suzanna Hupp has been asked those same questions in the interview and she answered them, My relaying what she said, is that what you want? Fine, but it means so much more coming from her, that story, her story, reached my heart strings, I feel for her and very much and can relate on the oppression side of it. but ok, this is so not gonna do her telling it justice, here we go, ,, ,,, She said,

maybe the gun would have jamed, maybe I would have missed, but I can tell you that i have hit much smaller targets at much greater distance. but the plain and simple truth is, it would have increased the odds.

Please try to understand, she watched her father shot trying to rush the gunman, he knew he didn't stand a chance, but his daughter and wife was in there, he had to do something. She then watched her mother refuse to leave cradling her husband when someone threw themself through a glass window to create an escape for the rest. Her mother was not leaving her husband's side, no chance.

I don't think I said that, sorry if i did, or if you misunderstood. I just don't like this idea that it's seen by so many as a privladge rather than a right. thats my only thing. To me it's like saying someone else is gonna decide what I can have, keep own or carry, and what I can not. Be it a gun, or a laptop in a carry bag, or a can opener, anything, doesn't seem right, I have this crazy notion of being a free human, and feel like my personal freedom is being attacked. Maybe thats a over reaction, but no more than saying as someone has, that if two armed people come into contact, see eachother, they just have to shoot it out because one thinks the other might shoot them.

Apart from the video, people in the US who have a CONCELAED hand gun permit more ofte than not know how to use it and practice with it.

She doesn't come across as a shrinking violet.

The fact she automatically went for her gun to me says it was an instictive action by her, muscle memory more than having to think about it.

Once you have muscle memory like that, I reckon she would also have it with draw, aim and fire.

It doesn't sound like the shooter was that far away.

Finally, even if she had been shot but had also shot the shooter, how many people would she have saved ??????

At least, in order to acquire a concealed weapon permit, they have to go to class...........puts them well up on the "open carry" cretins.

Am a firm believer in both concealed and open carry - and the use of.

With the appropriate checks etc, not that it makes any difference to some "gang banger" who will carry reagrdless.

Re: where is freedom

To hit a target with revolver you need to be very steady.  If you fire as you are being hit, there is no way you hit the target, if you are shaking you are very unlikely to hit the intended target.  Not being a shrinking violet has nothing to do with being under extreme pressure in such a situation, when you know that if you miss you are dead.

Re: where is freedom

What I meant by not being a shrinking violt was I didn't think she would be the shaking type.

Agree re if hit, it changes the perspective.

I have shot revolver and semi auto pistols.
