The only way to even try to maintain freedom is to not let them take away your firearms. How many free countries disallow its citizens to own firearms.

hmmm , ok I won't take that personally.

Here is why we have guns in the bush.

To eradicate the wild pigs that are attacking the lambs and destroying crops

To put down injured animals as humanely and quickly as possible.

To shoot the rats living in the haysheds that are eating and contaminating the stock feed

To kill the foxes that are attacking the newborn lambs

I don't think there is anything lacking in my makeup. Nor do I need my head read. well ok I might, but not because I own a gun. In this country, in the bush, there is a need for guns.

My best friend and cousin was shot and killed when we were 20. I hated guns for many, many years but finally realised it wasn't the gunthat killed her, it was the jealous, posessive exboyfriend who killed her. It wasn't his rifle. He borrowed it off a mate and asked him to show him how to use it 😞  Todays gun laws make it a lot harder for this to happen.

That has happened to me before SJ and I just left it and my post showed up on the boards a couple of hours later.

I think this is a case where the people demand the gun control, if they are ok with it, and happy with the bans and or restrictions, then thats good. We all have our own opinions on the matter and voice them. Many Americans think the same way, but theres enough who are pro gun to hold off the gun control to some degree. they push and we push and the ones who stop pushing first end up losing ground.

Ya' no... that's a bunch of B.S not one American has come here and post one time that the U.S is "better" than anyone. We just post about our gun laws, why some here believe in the 2nd, that's your B.S.

I agree that guns are of use in the right place, and because we make it a bit harder to own a gun, we don't have the random I hate Mondays shootings. With a couple of horrible exceptions.

Yes, take away the right fir someone to be honest about eating meat and kill, clean, cook and consume. Give everyone the only choice of eating meat from a corporate slaughter house, yeah for factories of death.

My dauther hung herself last year and within the year her eldest boys farther did exactly the same thing. he lost both parants in less than 12 months.

Guns dont kill, people kill and they will by what ever means they can find.
