Cant really see what it has to do with God but I guess some people always need to blame someone else
If you actually read the whole article, you will see the part which reads " the driver lost control" , I didnt realise it was God driving the bus

He's not blaming as it clearly states in the article:
The bus, being operated by MIA Coaches, was carrying a mix of adults and children from a church group.
Hence the god reference.

The OP was asking "where god was?"
God guides He doesnt control our lives, the bus driver had free choice and in this case , it would seem he made a bad one

OP was asking where God was due to the bus being loaded with church goers
Fair enough question
I guess they were not going to church 'enough'

Where was God?
You know, on reflection, I can honestly say that don't know...
But I do know this much - the bus "landed" upright. Had it landed upside down there would have, in all likelihood, been more injuries...
It would seem it came to a halt not too far from the road, which must have made the rescue/recovery effort easier.
The roof didn't crumple, trapping people inside, and the bus didn't catch fire which woulld have only magnified the terror felt by the passengers.
Accidents are terrible, but an accident where everybody, to some degree, walks away is far better than one where fatalities are involved.
So if you believe in God, thank Him, thank Him for this - it could have been a lot worse.
And if you don't believe in God then I suppose you could say something like "Phew, that was a lucky escape..."...

Words other than luck can be used in situations such as this e.g. fate, destiny, fortune, nature. But some of us are inclined to look for the person/s at blame due to their action or inaction. When we can't find someone to blame we sometimes resort to supernatural explanations i.e. God did it or it was good or bad luck. Personally. I think sh*t sometimes happens and it is pointless to suggest reasons that make no sense.

If you weren't such a godless person you'd know that the Bible says time and chance happen to all men, and that it also says it rains on the just AND the unjust.
I'd be very careful who you mock!
