But the word is Obama hand picked him to be Vice President and IMO that in itself is an impressive endorsement. He achieved many great things when he was Vice President and seemed to be a responsive politician. He never cried fake news, hoax or Republican plot, he reacted when action was needed. Whichever, I think it's time for America to have a politician in charge again, rather than a narcissistic, delusional has been B grade entertainer. It's time for the people to say, "Trump, you're fired".
Biden was the perfect Vice President for Obama....I don't deny that.
He had experience in areas where Obama was lacking and was very good at backing Obama. Obama had the drive and energy for both of them
I do not doubt that Biden is a decent man and has many good points but there is no denying that he is older and has lost a lot of his momentum. He is not a good speaker...he slurs his words and stumbles over words.....he is also quite forgetful.
No matter how willing Biden is, I just do not think he is up to the job now. America needs a leader who can start mending the international relationships that Trump has destroyed as well as getting the USA back on track.

It's a pity folks use that against him.
He was a stutterer as a kid & was hell bent in over coming it. It's actually his strength and got him where he is today.
His heart and mind is in the right place.
On that note "Anybody but Trump"

Libertarians believe in NO government, so the head of government is unlikely to ever be a libertarian.
You don't suspect and I'm not the only one wide awake to you my friend!
Ron Paul IMO was ideal. Bernie Sanders would be acceptable.
Many libertarians believe in government. Ron Paul does, so do many others. I believe in government without corruption and puppets.

I would prefer a leader who slurs encouraging words, rather than one who slurs others, even his own people, and tells unbelievable lies. I think Biden is up to the job if his people get behind him. At the moment America needs anyone other that Trump to start the mending and healing.

That smacks of an ad hominem attack. Something you are famous for denouncing.
Look up the definition of libertarian.
Most of us idealise perfect government. It ain't gonna happen when humans are involved, so the next best option is least worst.

As you so eloquently put it - so often - stick to the topic.
What has Bernie - and for heavens sake Ron Paul - anything to do with - this election.

I never said his heart is not in the right place.....there has never been a question about his integrity and passion or his past record.
He just comes across as an elderly man who is past his prime. He cannot rely on the goodwill of people and people knowing he was a stutterer.....not if he wants to be taken seriously.

I think they are both past their prime - but it is what it is.
Biden/Harris 2020.
