The rain is much needed, just a pity it is either drought or a deluge - never seems to be a welcome middle range

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of drought and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror –
The wide brown land for me! Dorothea Mackellar

i dont love sumburn
or sweeping, much prefer the vacuum
climbing is not my game
a nice day with a cool breeze or a shower of rain is perfect
dont care for anything far away
the sea when there is a storm is good
the dove family in my tree
anything poisonous can leave me alone
give me a green tree filled park not a desert
