HEATWAVE: Bendigo swelters through another hot day
UPDATE WEDNESAY: The temperature is again soaring.
According to the Bendigo Bank clock, it was 42 degrees at 12.01pm.
By 12.17pm, that had soared to 44 degrees.
it's almost 46 where we are..

If there needs to be a message in every thread...?
If anything posted helps a child who may have otherwise been left in a hot car or reminds others to be fire aware and drink plenty of fluid ....I think that'd be a pretty good and worthwhile message ...don't you think ?

I heard on the radio today that record number of children had to be rescued out of hot cars in the past couple of days. Are people really so stupid?
I was quite OK during the heatwave last year, but i am finding this one difficult. Last night inside it was still over 30 degrees C at 2 pm and outside it felt even more. You know it is hot when the cat sleeps on the tiles in the bathroom 🙂

when I was little, my grandmother use to wet the top sheet, when the weather was hot in Adelaide, no airconditioners then, only fans.
