ACRONYMS with a difference.

I love playing the acronyms game but some times I would love to use the same word and move the letters to make the acronym different.

Don't you mean anagrams? Acronym is an abbreviation formed from the initial components in a phrase or a word. The examples I can see here are not quite anagrams- the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce a new word or phrase, using all the original letters exactly.... and are not existing Acronymes ,  Or am i missing something? Or are you just making stuff up from a word as if it were an acronym when really it isn't? lol I'm confused ...

there are two threads, one is "acronyms", as per the meaning of an acronym.

This one is called acronyms with a difference, as instead of being a straight acronym, such as LASER, the words of the sentence you make must begin with the letters of the last word of the previous post's sentence, but in the wrong order - so it is an acronym "with a difference"

so if the last word was laser

you could say "solve really easy acronyms lazily", which rearranges the letters of laser

but not "light amplification stimulated emission radiation", which is a straight acronym. You could say that in the other, acronym thread.

An anagram is different again.

"An anagram is a type of word play, the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce a new word or phrase, using all the original letters exactly once; for example orchestra can be rearranged into carthorse."
