CS:- Chuckle Store

As with all past inadvertent blooper post threads, the introductory post must be the classic contribution from our cheerful fishy lady, circa 2002:-

"no expert here but is it possible to buy chicken & screw it to the posts of your fence a couple of feet off the ground then run it down into the ground a few inches & along the ground 1-2 feet.pile the dirt on top of it."

Still eye-watering Kylie.

"#759, ask the author SIL he/she like you appear not to comprehend the object of the thread.
Is the object of this thread to make fun of people with a learning disability? I don't think so."

Think MA, does not the term "........appear not to comprehend the object of the thread." mean the same thing?

Take it up with the author(s) MA (and SIL), not reopen old "wounds" from 2009 for some agenda of your own.

I think the point people are missing is that spelling (and grammar and syntax) mistakes are only funny if they change the meaning of the sentence to something humorous or absurd.
For example. "The family were forced to flee from their breakfast" conjures up a mindboggglingly ridiculous situation. As does "you would definitely have had your mouth washed out with soup for that one!" However, there is nothing even mildly chuckleworthy in a one letter typo that produces the word interisting in place of interesting.

I think most of the regulars from CW and CS know that TGSE, so why belabour the point, and in so doing also undermine the purpose of the thread: a compilation of "past inadvertent blooper posts"

"Earlier, scores of police, many in bullet-proof vests and dogs, converged on the house."

The mind boggles.

I don't have any agenda. I don't know of any old wounds. I don't even know what you are refering to by mentioning 2009.

I am simply trying to make posters on this thread aware that although unintentiona,l the ones that have reposted posts from person(s) with Dyslexia, appear to be poking fun at them.

Oh come on MA, I would not have a clue who has what, and those re-posting excerpts would probably be in the same boat.
The only posters likely to cause some affront now, are those raking up what they consider offensive.

Let it rest
, read the OP and have a chuckle at it, and some images that it spawned-

It would have been nice if they were harpy with each others company and left everyone else alone,
guess they didnt get along that well after all
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
