Donnaโฅ my husband is a shocker he likes to change his jobs like his undies(thank god he is good at what he does ๐ ) He has gone from the shopside of things to being a salesman at the fruit & veg markets now.
Speaking of jobs I've been offered a job at my local homeart yay!!! Only thing standing in my way is the timetable as my kids are still quite young so I need to fit the job in with my schedule with them.Off to talk to the manger today and let her know what I can't do and fingers crossed she is cool witth that and then hopefully I'll be part of the workforce again ๐

The rains have stopped a bit up North of Oz, so slowly the waters are subsiding to reveal horrific damages and dead bodies, unfortunately. There will be possible disease outbreaks as the cleanup job lies ahead for months and months!!

well the boss is a total waste of time ....
today she told me off for playing 'dead fish' with the kids...... its like statues .... except they lie on the floor and dont move ....until the last one wins .... kids ask me if they could play ... so I said ok .... I was the judge .... eliminating the moving people..... she told me it was not their policy to have children not move .... ๐ฎ ...... said its in the context of the game and the kids wanted to play it ..... she said ... they have to be free to move around the rooms as they like ....not keep still in one room ..... pffffft!!
how ridiculous .... I was gobsmacked ..... it was an organized activity that the children initiated .... **shakes head**
well I wont be initiating anything anymore at this centre .... actually spent an hour finding things to entertain them last nite .... some dinosaur masks to colour and cut out ....for the boys and some paper dolls + clothes to colour and cut out for the girls ..... but apparently the staff werent interested in my suggestions.... so they came home with me tonite and I wont take them again .....
well hope everyone has had a better day than me ..... โฅ
off to eat my dinner ...BBL

Peela what a crap place to work & I pity the kids cos they have to stay there after you get to leave. There is nothing more frustrating that inflexible beaurocracy in the workplace - I've come across it myself & been gobsmacked & quite furious at the reaction of "I do not want to hear you" even when the circumstances demand another practice.
Anyway, hi all, my first visit today as I borrowed my son's great big manual 4WD to do my shopping & pick up a Freecycle item - ended up quite enjoying driving it, even tho it's a tank!
