Hi, everyone! Hope you are doing well. Our shower has been finished - except for the door. Couldn't find one we liked so we ordered a custom one with a design that we found and requested they etch into the door! Will get it in about 2 weeks.

Poor Belle had spur of the moment surgery this afternoon. Ever since I got her, she has had a deformed nail on her back foot. Vet said it was caused by a traumatic injury and nothing would be done about it. I took her in today just to have that nail trimmed as it grows 3 times faster than all her other nails. It was all cracked, was causing a deformity to her toe, and causing her pain when walking. Belle would often fall on her little face because of the nail. Vet saw the nail, the toe and how it was affecting her walking and decided it need to go. He had an hour between appoitments so Belle had her surgery. I am so happy to be rid of that hideous toe and I think she will be too when it heals. Unfortunately, it was long inside her foot! Usually most of the nail is outside but this one was just as long inside so the total nail was over 2"! Due to the length of the nail, they had no choice but to amputate part of the toe. So she will hurt for a few days but I have pain meds for her.

Rose, are you going to be able to let Dex go? I get attached so quickly that I could never foster because I'd end up keeping every one! I have 10 pets now and some because I rescued them.

bought a gorgeous wardrobe ..... but wont get it for about 4wks ...gotta be sent over from Victoria ....

wandered around ikea ....man that place is massive 😮 didnt buy anything ....just wanted to get out of it .... wayyyy too many people and stuff everywhere you looked .... too much .... !

awww ilse your poor little girl ..... at least with the nail gone she will be able to walk properly ....and it will heal really quickly .... and the missing bit of toe wont be a deterrent to her .... lots of pets have only 3 legs and some 2 ...and they manage beautifully ... she will be right as rain when its healed ♥

I hope Belle heals quickly - she'll be so happy without that handicap!

Lil Dexter's going in for the teeny snip on Monday as well as his chip. I've had a few people look at him but all are still "thinking about it". Poor Cooper hasn't had a call. It's him I'd more likely keep - Dex is cute but he'll grow out of that - Cooper's a doll, people don't know what they're missing.

I am so tired lately. My whole days have turned around & I'm much busier - it's good but I just can't tag. Too tired - even thinking about all I have to do to make one just turns me off lol. Not really funny I know. But this is like starting a job - Max & Kasi were completely in synch with me & my day but now I'm going non-stop it seems.

Oh I got my car fixed yesterday! Russ lent me $200 & a wonderful groupie friend donated $50 towards the fosters so I bought a huge bag of puppy food with that so that's them & many other pups taken care of for a long time.
I still say $660 for a radiator is harsh but there ya go, how can I argue.
I need one new tyre then after that it should be right - there's other things need doing but hopefully they will last for a little while.
