Goodness, guess I've been absent a few days. Just been busy cleaning up around here and reorganizing. The place is still a mess from when we installed the new flooring and busy making sure our friends were all settled in here. I feel like I've lost a couple of weeks.
Le-Anne, holy crap! Talk about time flying....you'll be leaving in 8 weeks already. Ohhhhhhh I would love to sneak in your luggage and travel with you. ๐ Are you flying straight to Florida or were there other things you and the family are doing before arriving in Florida? I'm getting very excited not long not long!!! We're staying in auckland new zealand for 2 days then off to LA for 2 hours lol then off to miami for 4 days onto the cruise then disney for 8 days yipeee!!!!!! And you are more than welcome to stow away if you don't mind sharing the space with a load of shoes hehehe

My head is pounding and my nose is starting to run so off to the shops after the shool run to get cold/flu tabs so I can shake it a little for work tomorrow and to top it off it has started to rain heavily thanks so much.

morning all ..... well still morning over here in the west ....
been a wet and wild night .... cold, windy & raining .... luckily no storm damage around our area ... I think the coastal places were the worst hit ......
furbabies asleep on their ruggies on the floor ...even they dont wanna be out in the cold LOL
well my side is still hurting ... will ask the doctor tomorrow about it .... have to go for a checkup 7 days after discharge from hospital .... maybe I need some more antibiotics or maybe its just a case of the muscles being stretched beyond their limit when I was coughing so much .... we will see ๐
at the moment I have to hold my side when I take a deep breathe ... ๐

and got the optometrist in the afternoon .... to check my eyes .... heres hoping they havent changed ..... cos I have 3 pairs of reading glasses .... one for work, one for home and one for my going out bag ..... and if they havent changed then I can get another pair free this year ..... makes things easier when you have so many pairs ๐
if I get the new ones I hope they have some nice frames .... last year I got buy one get one free .... so got some burgundy metal frames .,..... and some purple metal frames ... and got my prescription put into my old purple metal frames from a couple of years back ....

Peela, wow....you've got a busy day ahead. You're so lucky to get your reading glasses for free. I only need reading glasses so I just buy them at Wal-Mart. Three years ago when I saw an optometrist, it cost me $300 by the time everything was done. So that's it for me for awhile.

I've got a fullblown head cold and I have to suck it up for my 9 hour shift at work as we have no one to replace me I like to be loved but not this much lol
Not wanting to wish my life away but I sure do hope today goes by very quick hehehe

donna .... the optometrist I go to is covered by my health insurance ...and they in turn let me have a free pair of glasses per calendar year .... so I take advantage of this .... cos otherwise it would cost me a bomb ... mind you they give you a choice of certain frames .... so hoping like I said up there ^^^ that they have some nice coloured frames ...purple preferably :^O .... but like last time I had to get the burgundy ...cos they didnt have any other purple ones .... who knows maybe I will get a blue pair ...:O ...... LOL

been to doctors .... chest all clear .... but still got the sore side ...she says its cos the pneumonia causes the outer lining of the pleura to inflame and that the coughing as well causes inflammation so it will take a bit longer to clear up ...but all good !
