We had a terrible storm last night. Lost power for almost 5 hours. Loads of fun sitting in the dark...lol. I went walking around Wal-Mart for awhile.

Peela, well I did find something useful at Wal-Mart. ๐ I bought 2 emergency lights that you plug into a wall socket. When the power goes off, they will come on. They are always charged since they are plugged in and have the LED bulbs and are bright. If you unplug them and flip the switch on them, the light comes out of the end and you can use them like a flashlight. Other than those that I bought, I did wander for awhile. ๐

It's Friday here and I've got plenty to do. I've got to figure out why my digital rain gauge is acting up. I placed new batteries in the unit that stays inside the house and the unit that collects/dumps the water and lets the inside unit know how much rain. Everything was fine when I went to bed but this morning...LOL it's reading 74.79 inches. I know it didn't rain 72 inches overnight cause I would need Noah's Arc if it had. Besides, it didn't rain overnight. :^O I may go back to the old fashioned rain gauge....a glass beaker that sits in a holder.

Donnaโฅ I am going to raid wall mart when I come over I am dying to see what the inside of one of those looks like!!! That is so cool you have a rain gauge(well when it works it would be pmsl at noah's arc)
