hope the shed turns out super duper ..... and the rain holds off for you to get it finished and dried ๐
a cold brisk saturday here ..... luckily my clothes line is half under cover of the patio .... it gets dried no matter the weather ...might take a bit longer ....but it doesnt keep getting wet over and over again .... ๐ love my extedaline ..... makes getting washing dry so much easier ....also in summer cos it doesnt fry the clothes .... LOL ....

Peela, hope you're having a good weekend. I would love to have a clothesline under my covered deck. It can't be a permanent thing where I live. I'm thinking about buying some plastic chain and rigging up a line or two. Where I live, they have rules against anything permanent and definitely can't have any type of setup in the yard. I love the clean smell of clothes that have been dried outside. I get so tired of using the dryer.
It's Saturday morning here and I'm hoping that we'll start on the shed today and get it finished this weekend. It's a holiday weekend for us here. Monday is Labor Day and no special plans.
I just stepped outside and the temperature feels pretty nice. I think our temps will start to cool off this next week and I'm so ready for Fall temps.
Ilse and Le-Anne will be meeting up in 1 week. I wish I lived a lot closer to Florida.

:O .... geez donna ... couldnt just use a dryer ... would drive me crazy .... in 3 yrs Ive probably only used it a handful of times ...and that is just to finish off stuff thats almost dry ...and cos I didnt want the place looking like a chinese laundry (as mum used to say) by draping damp clothes everywhere LOL
in my houses Ive always had an extendaline .... my other house it was all out in the sunshine .... no cover ... but you can unhook it and it rolls back inside a box on the wall ... this house its on the back wall to the side of the house ...and extends out from the house into the sun .... = half under the patio and half in the sun .... I gotta say I rarely use the bit not undercover ... unless its a nice spring warm day ...and I do a huge load or two .... ๐ and you can remove the post and rewind the lines back in if you wanted to use the space ...
I even have one of those travelling lines( you take on holidays with you and put up in the bathroom) ... across the patio further down from the other line .... its great for extra space ... we dont have any laws over here .... everyone has a clothesline .... most are the rotary type .... but even the newer ones of those can be taken out of the ground and a cap put on the hole where the pole goes ...so that you can use the yard as per normal ....
the hoist has always been a part of the Australian backyard ... and it has many uses .... people put tarps on it to make some shade ....and party lights and decorations to make a nice party area ....you dont know what youre missing LOL

Well didn't get much done today....actuallyI didn't get a think accomplished..lol. We just got home about 15 minutes ago. We left around 3:45 today and made the long drive over to the casino. Had a good time and all I can say is "I hope the casino enjoys my money." LOL
