Good Morning!
I'm backkkkk!!! :^O
Hi BB!!! So sorry I missed you zippin through.
Well let's see....where shall I begin about this trip...lol
We made it home last night (Tuesday) around 5:30 pm; much later than anticipated. I'll get back to that in a minute. We had a great time over in New Mexico. Le-Anne, you were close...just left off the "New" in New Mexico.
๐ I do wish though we had gone to Mexico. When we left Friday, the weather was really crappy; windy and drizzling rain. That night it was below freezing. It warmed up very nicely during the day and the nights were a bit warmer for the remainder of the trip. We did a lot of walking up and down the washed out trail to the lake and around the campground. One of our friends took her kayak out on the lake one day.
Yesterday morning, we had been on the road for a little over an hour when I saw all this rubber come flying out from under our rv. I was glad I was quite a ways behind him driving my aunt's rv. We all pulled over and my husband called the roadside service company we pay for. About an hour or so later, we were back on the road with a new tire. The town we were heading to is where this service truck came from. My husband stopped in there to buy a spare tire while the rest of us went to the truckstop nearby and filled up with gas and bought some lunch. Well needless to say, my aunt locked the rv keys in the vehicle and the spare key to it as well. LOL I called my husband and asked him if the guy could come by and unlock her rig. He eventually showed up and within 10 minutes, he had it open and we were back on the road.
Hope you ladies have a wonderful Thursday when you wake up. I've got an rv that needs to be unloaded.
