Peela, well when my family lived in the same town as I do, we always shared in bringing food to whoever was hosting the dinner. Now they live 1.5 - 2 hours away and it's not convenient. They did bring the desserts....which was nice.
Oh your daughter is going to have a nice surprise with you and your mum picking her up. I hope you and your mum have a good time at the shopping centre.

LOL .... donna her face was priceless .... she sorta got the 'huh what are you doing here look' ....... with frown in place .... :^O
then we walked over to her ...and she said .... oh were you visiting someone around here today .... told her no we had just come to pick her up and take her home .... biggest smile ever ....
we went and sat in the food hall and waited for her to finish ... then dropped mum home and came home .... I had a lovely cold drink in the esky for her ....and she was sooooo happy that she didnt have to take all the transport to get home .... we were home well before she normally was .... so it was a bonus ....
then she cheekily says ....so same time all week ๐
pfft to that I told her .... ๐
oh thats a bit of a way to bring lots of food when travellling ....but glad they bought the desserts for you to have .... a nice treat โฅ
a hot and nasty day in my part of the world today ..... and its gonna be more of the same all week ๐

Well the weather people are saying we're in for some really warm temps by the weekend. It's definitely starting to warm up and that cold cold air is disappearing...yes! Our nights are still quite chilly and that's ok. It's currently 19ยฐC and will get warmer.

I've been FLAT OUT with work kiddies parties gaherings and now we are getting into the birthday party season!!!! I'm still up to my armpitts in wrap and gifts just changing over from festive theme to balloons and cup cake theme hehehehe
I'm off to do a food shop parcel post and get ready for the late shift at work things should cal down by next week fingers crossed

donna .... yep earlies all this week ... only 3 days sadly ๐
and I think Im on lates next week .... so dont start until 10am ...and finish at 6.30pm .... so will be getting home at about 7pm my time .... ๐ ...... but we all have to do the late shift in the rotation ..... so obviously cos I do all different rooms ... I sometimes tend to get the rotten shift more often .... but its good to do all the shifts .....I think it would be boring to be doing the same shift week after week .... no matter what time you start ๐
le-anne .... I should imagine youre run off your feet at the moment ... dont forget to take some 'me' time .... so you dont get too stressed out ๐
