We got that storm this morning that certainly cooled things down a lot after the 40C (105F)!!! pphheeww!! Summer sure is the stormy season.

crikey le-anne that easterly sure earnt its name ..... it blew like the dickens last nite .... ๐ฎ ......luckily no damage that I could see at our place ...thank goodness....
but got to work this morn for the 10am shift ....only to find that the power had only just come on .... went off during the storm last nite .... as the parents arrived this morning .... some of them decided to take their kids home as we werent sure when the power would come back on ....
so technically a quiet day ....;-)
but didnt get home until late .... parent wanted an update on their childs progress ..... at 6.25pm .... ๐ five minutes before we close ..... and of course it took a lot longer than 5mins .... **sigh** ...they dont seem to get that we dont get paid after 6.30pm when our shift ends .....:-( ........ their child is more important than us getting home to our own families......
mim glad you were cooled down a bit ..... that heat is murder ...hope the cool weather continues for you โฅ

Peela, oh wow....that must of been some storm. Glad to hear the power was back on at work. Must of been really nice with some of the children not there. I think some parents are clueless or don't care if the staff stay later. Hope the rest of the week is better for you.
Peela, I did! I went a bought a few things yesterday at V.S. It's the only time that things are at a reasonable price there.

today we had all the types of weather I reckon .... this morning it was coolish weather .... quite nice .... then during the day it was hot ....and we couldnt go outside until after 4.15pm ....as the UV rating was very high .... due to the cloud cover magnifying the dangerous UV rays off the sun .... then this afternoon at about 5.45pm ..... it rained .... only a gentle shower ....but crikey .... talk about all the seasons in one day ๐ฎ
totally bizarro world today .... LOL
