ok havent worked out how to put a piccie in the middle and then type up at the end of it ....so far it wont let me do it.... so I have to make two posts ๐
well wacky golf wasnt too bad ...although the kids as predicted were bored rather quickly .... and as we had 11 of them to go through the course .... on the harder holes we let them have 3 or 4 shots .....and then moved on .... cos there were heaps of people coming after us ...and we would have been there all day had they continued until they got the ball into the hole LOL
there is also a water park there with big tubes to come down in and splash at the bottom .... the kids were very envious of this .... but as we werent there for that particular activity they just had to watch the other people on it ....
tomorrow we are off to a park .... lets hope its not too hot .... cos it was very hot today .... ๐
when its hot at the centre .... especially in the babies room we usually have the aircon cranked up ....and take their clothes off them ....just leave them in their nappies to cool them off .... a parent bought in a little paddle pool recently .....and the girls set it up on the floor with towels all around it ....and the babies (with help from the carers) had a little splash in it .... they looked very cute in just nappies .... ๐
time for bed here ....
gotta get some sleep so Im ready to deal with a group of about 10 or 12 bored children .... at a park .... in the heat ..... with not much to do ..... oooooh cant wait .... NOT !

Peela, oh bummer about the heat. ๐ You and the other caregivers did a great job with the kids and hurrying them along. Ohhh I bet they were envious of those in the water; maybe next time. ๐ I hope it's much cooler for you when you take the children to the park.
Yeah, these tires would be the size of like a FEDEX vehicle or something similar. They are large but not as large as those semi's need. We had to buy 6 of them.
So far it looks like we'll be heading out this Saturday for almost a week. I won't know for sure until later today. We're waiting on the 12 volt cable setup for my husbands cpap machine.

I hope all goes well with your trip donna .... and Im glad I dont have to pay for those tyres .... such a lot of money in one hit !
well we went to the park today ... it was hot and nasty ...but there were lots of shady trees ..... and grass everywhere .... it was about an hours drive to get there .... and we took balls for the kids to play with ....
I also took some face paint ....to paint their faces ....and some supplies to get them to make kites .... using the little branches on the ground from the trees as the strut on their kites .... it kept them busy all day ... and we went to see the ducks on the pond before leaving .... all the kids had a great day ....and proudly showed off their kites when they got back to the centre ... ๐
no on excursion tomorrow .... its pyjama day at the centre ... and everyone will be wearing their pjs .... Im taking my popcorn making machine .... so we can have some fresh popcorn to watch the movie with .... LOL ....and I wont be wearing my pjs .....cos I wear a nightie ...and Im not driving to work and working in a nightie all day LOL .... may take my chicken feet slippers though ....just for a joke ๐

Hello everyone! We are having a bit of a cold snap here still. temps in the day are barely making it into the double digits, going to the negative side at night.

Awww Peela, I think you should wear your jammies to work...lol. ๐ I hope everyone has a great time with the pajama party....sounds like a lot of fun.
Well the medical supply place didn't even order the cables until yesterday (Wednesday) and they were there today. The lady started to say she didn't order it til yesterday and quickly realized she messed up and quickly changed her story. Hubby told her he wasn't paying for the overnight shipping charge since it didn't arrive when she said it would.
Our trip was up in the air due to those cables that he had to have. Now tomorrow I get to pack everything in the rv.

Rosie, oh dear....well I do hope you get some warmer temps soon. I won't mention what our temps have been. ๐
