Oh yes please I would love to check out that group but I might not be able to commit any real time for a few weeks with rl going crazy,family stress and extra hours at work but once things chill and my boss trains another junior I will be able to really focus on PSP as I:ve always wanted to learn but never had the time only thing stopping me is if I have the "smarts"

Hello Ladies
Chris's post op went well. They took the half cast off and a couple of stitches. The rest of the stitches are dissolvable so they will just go away on their own. He was fitted with a splint that he can remove to shower. He is allowed to to passive movement exercises, which involves moving his thumb and fingers with the help of his good hand. He's not supposed to try to move them on their own. His thumb is healing nicely. We go back in 3 weeks for a check then he will start physical therapy.
I have a pic of his thumb fresh out of the cast/splint. I will just post the link in case some of you don't like to see that sort of thing

Well we talked to Shannon's lawyer today and they said that we don't have a strong enough case. I can't believe that there isn't something there after what the poor kid went through. They said it would be hard to prove that the care she got was below standard as a malpractice case would need to prove negligence. We were hoping to just get enough to pay her student loan debts so she won't have that weighing on her in the near future. We are disappointed and frustrated but not much else we can do about it. She and her BF went back to school today. We had a great long weekend with them.
