well cold and raining over here in the west .... completely different to the eastern states who are experiencing such terrible bushfires .... lots of loss of property ... luckily all people are safe at this point .... and the poor firemen are run off their feet .... sending good vibes their way ... and hopes that the fires will be out very soon ... โฅ

Peela, you are so right about the forums and FB. I do get to FB way more often than the forums these days. I haven't been making tags as much as I used to either. I still love doing them but time is the issue. I have made a couple new FB covers but that's about it. All the engagement photos are back. So many great ones. Going to be hard to choose....I will post a couple on my FB soon,

Popping in to catch up with you all. You all seem busy as usual. Peela is faithfully keeping the thread alive ๐
My lasik sugery went very well. 20/20 after 1st day. Usually it takes about 3 months for healing and such before you achieve the 20/20. I feel really good about doing it. Feels really great to have clear vision again. Going tomorrow for my 2nd post op check. Should be fine. They have to check my vision again and to make sure there are no wrinkles in the flap. I have not touched my eye since the surgery so it should have healed perfectly. The next day after when I went back for the post op, the dr was impressed with how it looked and said I heal really well and he could hardly see where he made the flap. So that was really good news.
I am so not liking all the extra work that goes along with a retail job. UGH. I had to work part of Black Friday....that was absolutely no fun. People are totally NUTS! And working every Saturday is the pits. I don't like that. The other job I am hoping to get is on hold right now as winter is there slow season so they are not hiring at the moment. We will revisit the conversation after the 1st of the year.
It was just Chris, Huntley and I for Thanksgiving as Shannon and James went to his grandparents. It was a quiet day and Chris and I got some alone time. That was very nice.

working for a living sucks sometimes LOL .... would be good if we were all rich enough not to work .... just enough to make sure our bills were taken care of would be a bonus ๐ sadly its not to be ... LOL
glad you got to have some alone time at thanksgiving ... its always nice just to be together ... we dont celebrate thanksgiving in oz .... so was just another weekend for us
working at a different centre until I go away in january .... other than the xmas & new year weeks when I am at my usual centre (covering the boss's holidays)
