SATISFIED - She continued to mull over this, but in general she did feel satisfied that Edward was what he seemed to be – a genuinely nice bloke – and Grace let Rufus and Bailey out into the back yard for a game of “Hunt the Bones”.

HACKED - Grace’s phone started ringing; it was Roxanne, speaking with both distress and annoyance as she said, “Mum! My email and Facebook have been hacked, so be careful if you get any weird requests supposedly from me!”

DROPPED - Grace accidently dropped her phone after Roxanne`s call and started to breathe hard... in and out as her doctor instructed to do. Suddenly Rufus & Bailey rang over and put their heads in her lap and this indeed calmed her down. Later she went thru her emails and they were all ok!

DUSTING - Still feeling rather stressed and annoyed, Grace got her feather duster and began dusting the skirting boards and architraves, which she found rather soothing, as well as keeping the house satisfyingly clean.

GRIM - Grace was actually not surprised when she received a text message about an hour later, purporting to be from Roxanne, saying “Hey mum, lost my phone & had to get new, put down this number in your address book. im in trouble really need yr help”, as she had read about the “hey mum” scam – so with a grim smile, she called Roxanne on her usual phone number, and when her daughter answered, she said “Roxanne, sweetheart, I just received one of those ‘hey mum’ messages and I thought I’d give you a quick call just to confirm that of course you haven’t replaced your phone and suddenly lost all of your grammar! - oh, and I’ll call Lissa as well in a moment.”

MONGRELS - She was furious with those mongrels tying to scam her, her daughters and anyone else they targeted, but realised she had to calm herself down and not let her stress levels rise too much, or her health would suffer, so she went outside to play with the dogs, which would make her feel much better.

SQUIRREL - Relaxing outside with a coffee Grace looked up and saw a squirrel running across her back fence. Lucky for her that Rufus & Bailey were inside playing with Roxanne and didn`t see it!
