DREADFUL - Grace licked her cone and gave a little grin of pleasure, checked that the dogs were secure (and carefully not encouraging their pleading to have their own yoghurt cones), and began to glance over her news app; those Los Angeles fires were dreadful and she was so upset to read of the loss of life and destruction of so many homes.

LEFT - After thoroughly enjoying her yoghurt cone, Grace and the dogs left the cafe and headed back home, taking a slightly longer route to walk off those delicious treats.

TEMPO - They were walking at a slightly faster tempo now, and the sun was gilding the air and lighting dust mites; the dogs tugged at the leads and barked insistently in duet, so Grace let Rufus and Bailey examine the trunk of a spreading oak tree for suitability to do what a dog must do.

OVER - Rufus & Bailey trotted over to the spreading oak tree,  lifted their hind legs and do what dogs gotta do .....wee wee lol.

Grace looked at them and couldn`t believe how much they did. No wonder why they drank so much!

REMINDED - A quick look at her watch reminded Grace that she was expected to be home later that day for a phone consultation with her GP, so she called the dogs away from the tree and headed up the hill towards home.

DOCTOR - Grace settled the dogs once she was home, washed hands, put on the kettle for a cup of French Earl Grey tea (which for some reason she always wanted when having a phone consultation with her GP), noted down which prescriptions needed to be replaced, and relaxed on the couch while she waited for the call.

REACHED - The phone rang, and as Grace reached out to answer it, she bumped the cup of tea causing it to spill all over the table, and she sounded quite flustered as she greeted her GP.

DOCTOR - Once seated and relaxed she started to explain to her doctor how she was feeling. The timing could not have been worse as her next door neighbour starting knocking on her door.  Looking at her doctor she got up and explained to her friend that she couldn`t chat at the moment!

REQUIRED - After apologising to Dr Nolan for the interruption, Grace listed the medications she required new scripts for (only a couple, thank goodness), and then mentioned that she seemed to have slightly less energy than normal.

DIET - Grace answered her doctor’s question about diet (no change), exercise (no change), other symptoms and so on, and agreed that a blood test would be a good idea; as they were talking, she received the scripts in her phone, and the script for her blood test would be at the clinic’s pathology room ready for her.
