GRABBING - The woman slipped and down she went. Grace with Rufus & Bailey ran over to her grabbing her large dog out of her hand and told him to sit. Chatting later with the lady Grace laughed telling her that all the 3 dogs sat down at the same time.... good dogs & well behaved!

GLASS - Grace and the dogs arrived home quite thirsty after their walk, with Grace making sure that Rufus and Bailey had fresh water before filling her glass herself.

SPLINTER - A nagging discomfort in her left finger impinged more strongly in Grace’s consciousness and she let out a faint “Ow”; bringing her finger into view, she saw the dark shadow of a splinter beneath the skin.

REMOVED - Grace knew the splinter had to be removed, so she got out her first aid kit and went to work.

DONE- After removing the splinter without any pain she smiled to herself and said "a job well done Grace"! Now what`s on for the rest of the day she thought?

EXERCISE - With a sigh, Grace donned her exercise gear and hopped onto the exercise bike, listening to a recording of some Vivaldi to keep her speed steady, and grinned down at Rufus and Bailey while they played tug-of-war over a skipping rope.
on 02-12-2024 06:27 PM
EATING - As she had been eating a few too many treats lately, Grace extended her workout by another 10 minutes, even though she had been walking the dogs regularly.
on 04-12-2024 08:46 AM
GREAT - It was a great feeling doing more exercising and taking the dogs for extra walks especially when Christmas was not that far away.
on 04-12-2024 11:52 AM
TEMPER - Later that day, Grace wanted to try a new recipe which involved having to temper some chocolate, and of course that meant making sure the dogs were occupied so that there wasn’t any risk of their getting hold of chocolate (which was toxic to dogs).

RAGGED - So Grace dug through their box of toys, and found a ragged old ball attached to a strong cord, which would keep the dogs happy for a while - one digging their teeth into the ball, and the other tugging on the cord trying to take the ball for himself.
