Anyone else go to the 'Mushroom Evolution Concert' at the then named, Melbourne Myer Music Bowl?

It was 1981, Chain and Madder Lake played along side another 10 or more bands including this lady:

was just watching that Valentines clip again, fancy having Bon Scott as a back up singer 😮

anyone know what Vince Lovegrove did after the Valentines? I quite like his voice

vince did tv and radio in adelaide for years. he managed bon scott and jim barnes for a while, and is reckoned to have got scott the ac dc gig. he also produced the don lane show and other stuff, including the story of his wife and son who both died from HIV complications.

I never knew he managed, that's really interesting that he got Bon Scott's gig with ACDC

I did see the doco on the HIV complications but had forgotten it was Vince Lovegroves family

i think i saw him sing for a band called 'mount lofty rangers' with scott and barnes in the band (from a hazy memory) 🙂
