Last night in Port Douglas and heading back down to Cairns for the next few days...not looking forward to going back home or going back to work.
Melbourne had 2 degrees there this morning - we had 21. It has been a steady 31 here every day, lovely mornings and late arvo/evenings - but I don't like the middle of the day - it's too humid.
There is a croc on the loose a little bit down the road...and its a big bugger. The locals are nervous and don't venture off the main streets during day and certainly not in the evenings....so what did Chris and I do tonight in the dark - cook a bbq down by the beach...a few metres from the water. Well, we had to cook somewhere cos we had bought all this yummy seafood earlier and the only other bbq in town didn't work.
We have done a heap of sightseeing, driving, swimming, eating and drinking!!!! Leg is fantastic and Chris's back is stuffed as usual!!!
