Did ya catch any Hawk?

No time for fishing.

went up Friday 4pm un packed and waited for friends to turn up.

Went out to tea about 7 ish
had tea
went back to friends place as they have a slow combustion heater and wtached vidioes.

Saturday was go for a walk on the beach to get the paper.

then started the digital TV saga at our place.

gave up after an hour

took all the gear to mates place and after about an 1.5 hours of frustration finally tried a different set top box, hello it now works, my box was deaf.

That takes us to lunch time we all go back to our place and cook barbie and have a few drinks.

now its about 2:30 and we walk back to his place to finish his antenna system and run new coax cable.

we then go back to my place and look at mine agian now we have a working set top box and after getting a signal finally decided it was time to pack up for the day and go for another walk.

went back to mates and had a coffee

By then it was time to go out for tea

got back from there about 9 ish after putting $2 each in the pokies.

watched videos and that was Saturday gone.

Sunday started with a walk along the beach to get a Sunday mail.

Went back to mates place sat around reading paper and having coffee and chatting.

Guess what it was then time to head to our place for the barbie, after a long lunch it was walk time again.

Friends packed up and left about 5 ish

We had a bite for tea and watch a bit of TV

Day over

Monday I did a little on my antenna and started to make a list of things needed for next trip.

Tidied up shed and swept the floor

Guess what we had a barbie for lunch.

Cleaned up packed up and headed home about 4pm.

Dropped G/kids home had a coffee and then headed home

now haveing a rest :^O

Gee a day hiking with a packed lunch would be great, but it would have to be a day without rain and hail for me!!!!

Hawk, that sounds like a very pleasant weekend. I was rather impressed by all the walking and then got to wondering just how FAR you had to walk.......... :^O

It's been very cold here today too Al.

I was talking to bro that lives in Sydney earlier today and he was complaining of how cold it was there.

Oh well, it is winter I suppose. What more can we expect?

Hawk, now that sounds like a great long weekend to me. Except I would have replaced the set top box with the fishing....although then I would have been peed off that the set box didn't work.
