21.......... ooh a heat wave....... lol.

I had a couple of IXL heaters put in a couple of years ago, but mainly stay in the kitchen with a strip heater....... lol.

I might get the oil heater in the lounge room ripped out one day so I can use the fireplace. I love an open fire.

we use wood here in a slow combustion heater.

We have had free wood for 20 years, it would cost a fortune to run if we had to but it.

I think a heat pump reverscycle air con would be the way to go Donna, its the cheapest way of heating

Free wood for 20 years!!!

Do you get it from your property Hawk.

(Now I know where to go on a cold, dark night........ ]:) )

I looked into having reverse cycle heating Hawk. Apparently it needs ot be on an external wall............. and I don't have a place to put one....... :_|

Most of the external wall space here is filled with windows!!!!

Well I only have three bedrooms, kitchen and lounge room...... (apart from the 'wet' areas).

Two of the bedrooms have wall space but it would seem a shame to put one in a bedroom........... but maybe............ one day.

What's on the menu at your house tonight Hawk?

It will be a snitz with chips and pepper sause.

I would set it up in a bed room and use that as a small lounge rm with a TV and computer and a comfy chair.

Get some extra insulation put in the ceiling and cover over the window or get it double glazed

Lol Hawk. I'd really feel like Donna the hermit then......:^O

It ain't too bad in the kitchen. I have a little flat screen tv and this laptop on a desk type thing which is directly under the strip heater........... oh and a rather large office-type chair on castors.

At least the coffee ain't too far away while I'm set up here...... rotfl.

I only sit at the kitchen table with the lappy when it gets really cold here, we can get frosts under the carport and had a couple of burst pipes in the last couple of years

Well thats really important to be close to the coffee
