didn't do a lot I gotta say .... except finally get the fluorescent tube into the fitting on the ceiling in the kitchen ... been trying to replace it for ages ...but it just wouldn't go in X-( .....ask the maintenance bloke from work last week ....and he told me there were two bits that had to line up not one .... grrrr so we tried again today and wah-lah its finally in ....and boy is it bright now :^O ...... we have had a bedside lamp on the floor with a power saving globe in it since the big one went ....:O


so all in all a good day I suppose 😉

Floro lights have been the best power saving globes and been around forever.

And yes both bits on both ends need to go into the holders.

Two differnt types of fittings, the older ones slide in from the bottom and they need to be twisted 90degrees and the newer ones that have spring loaded ends.

But I guess you know all that now 😛

LOL .... yes indeed .... the broken globe lasted 23 years 😮 ..... so Im hoping this new one lasts the same time frame 😉 ....that would be totally awesome LOL

brrr its bluddy freezing over here today ... and gonna be 4 overnight 😮 ..... thought it was supposed to be spring .... more like winter ... ..... and we had rain and hail in some places today ....
