Good Morning Hawk and Peela. Sorry about yesterday - headed off on holidays early.
Got woken this morning by someone 3 rooms down who opened their door at 4.30am and put their tele on - LOUD X-(.
Our son, dil and grandson leave this morning and we meet tonight at the next motel. We rang them last night as they took their dogs to the same kennels and they said our dogs are eating and going OK. I still miss them and hope they are not fretting.
I see you went to JF's concert Peela. A rellie went in Melbourne weekend before last (maybe last weekend?) and they loved it.
Heading off soon - heading for Forbes in NSW today. We left a day early to visit a niece in Shepparton - spent a great night with them last night but today we are heading into territory we haven't been in for over 20 years - will be more interesting.

Hi Peela and Hawk*.
We arrived on the Gold Coast yesterday as planned but unfortunately son, daughter in law and grandson have got caught in floods and roads have been closed. They have been asked to leave Moree as they expect the town to flood so are back peddling at the moment and hope to get here tomorrow - 2 1/2 days off their 7 day booking at a top notch resort :-(, and around 1200 extra kms. We're feeling guilty because we got through but they stopped to look at a few things and were a couple of hours behind us. We had decided not to travel together but meet at the motel each night.

well went to work xmas party last nite ... wasnt too bad
watched all the young girls drink and dance ....then totter off home with their boyfriends .... I of course was totally sober as I dont drink ....and walked back to my car and drove home ....not a bad night I suppose 😉
