Good morning.  30 here today motherbear.

Feeling sad this morning.  Just heard that my friend who has been battling ovarian cancer passed.  She has given it a good battle but most of the time was unpleasant for her - RIP Marilyn ♥.

Cancer in any part of the body is the most insidious disease known to man, and the treatment in a lot of cases can be even worse:-(

I realise they're just words, however I'm sure your dear friend is in a better place, rose:-)

Good morning.

Thanks motherbear.  We were talking to her husband yesterday and he said the last couple of weeks have been horrendous.  He said he doesn't know what he is going to do without her - they have been together for 42 years but it was killing him watching her suffer so much when there wasn't a thing they could do.  She certainly is in a better place.

Funny - I needed ink for my printer.  Because we are in a unit, we only have laptops and when we need to use the printer, we have to lug it out and plug it into the laptop.  The ink for it cost $82 so I decided to check wireless printers out.  I ended up getting a wireless printer with ink for $47 - $35 cheaper than the ink would have cost me and we no longer have to lug the printer around.

Anyway, hope anyone calling in has a good day ...

Only 2 days until Peela's holiday comes to an end.  It has gone so quickly.

lol - Early night motherbear.  I went to bed just after midnight but I do read for some time.

How's things in your world hawk?  All going well I hope.

I have my friend's funeral today and it is raining with the odd thunder at the moment.  Hope it clears up this afternoon.

Lazy Saturday here - both the kids called in but other than that, nothing much has been done.

Think it's time we took the van away again.
