Oh, poor Peela - it's been lonely in here.

We have just arrived home and I must say, I am always glad to get home.  Bit surprised to get home and find the front door open and the security door unlocked though.  I can remember I was tying the dogs in the car and OH was supposed to be locking up.  I am a little worried lately that the mind is slowing down.

Hope Hawk is OK.  He usually drops in here even if he doesn't go elsewhere.  There's a few strange things going on in CS at the moment though.  Most of it I don't understand.

Peela, we always play 500 with these friends and usually the girls against the boys.  This time they had a friend staying so we were playing 5 handed and calling for a partner - unfortunately the boys won this time.

Getting closer tyo your holiday now.  You must be getting excited.

grrrr bluddy boards are messing around again tonite ....

just had to sign in three times to get here ..... who knows what the hell they are messing with this time X-(

glad you arrived home safely sandy..... but a bit of a worry finding the doors open ......hope nothing was missing .....

that would be lucky if no one noticed ....thank goodness ....

yes under two weeks now till I leave on my holiday .... getting everything sorted so my missy doesnt have to worry about anything .... cos she doesnt drive ...so making sure she has supplies at home so she doesnt have to try and get things from the shop for herself .... like milk & bread & fillings for her lunch ...

gonna get some of the UHT milk for in the cupboard ..,so at least she has some milk ....too hard to try and bring it home from work when its about 2hrs travel from work to home ... and milk would go off in that time .... gonna put a couple of loaves of bread in freezer to save her worrying about that ...and if I get a big amount of ham or such ...she can freeze it and use it as she needs it for her lunch ...

she gave my mum some money ...and she made up 12 meals for her that are in the freezer ...she only has to heat up some and add some noodles or rice to others to have a good meal ...as well as some other meat frozen in small amounts for her to cook for herself if she feels like it ...

also have to write down how to use the washing machine 😮

she already does her own ironing 😉

anyway off to bed for me .... hope youre ok hawk ♥

Hi Peela & Hawk.

Busy day today - I put some unused china on eBay because I want to buy a kindle without drawing on the bank account.  Sold enough to buy my kindle but it has taken me most of the afternoon to pack everything - I still worry that they won't break on the way!

lol at getting everything ready for dd.  I remember my daughter used to start work very early and work late so I used to do all her washing and ironing and cook a weeks meals at a time to freeze.  This went on for about 6 months.

Off to have dinner ...

Awww, cute little babies Peela.  Better when they're well behaved.

Busy decorating our grandson's birthday cake - 6 tomorrow.  He is growing too fast.

Left OH to take the cake out of the oven while I popped to the shops - just cut the top off and still a bit raw in the middle.  Just popped it back in the oven for 10 mins.
