Mirror, mirror - An opposites word game

I imagine that this sort of game has been done before... If not, I hope it will prove interesting.

The idea is simple: it begins with a word, and the next poster must post an "opposite" of that word and then add a new word for the next poster.

For example:

The first poster writes sick.

The opposite of that might be healthy or it might be dead or it might be salubrious ... whatever might be an opposite. It may not be a straightforward opposite, depending on the word.

In this example, the second poster therefore might write not vomiting, and then add any new word such as daisy.

The third poster would write an "opposite" of daisy, such as rose or orchid... or lemon (as daisy could also be a synonym for high achiever), and then add their own new word... and so on.

So... first word is

pant

(Dad used to comment unfavourably about a slew of new houses which we’d pass on a road frequently traversed on the way home; these houses used hideous cladding and - like clockwork - he’d make his comments (or I’d slyly (but lovingly) anticipate them a second before he opened his mouth. I miss him so much.)
