been trying for the last couple of weeks to no avail ...so using my iPad to at least pop in and tell you I'm still around ๐
well so much for me having some time off ....now booked at three different centres until end of June ... At the one I'm at all this coming week ...at a new centre for following week ...then back to this one for a week ...before going to another new centre for two weeks ... All good although I have another nasty cold ... With a voice I could use in priscilla queen of the desert ...LOL

It must be nice to know that you are good at your job and well respected to always be in demand.

Not a lot to report. I have Mr Braff off work at the moment and now he is going to be off for another 2 weeks. (Heaven help me)
So far it's been ok but I can't guarantee the same answer in 2 weeks time.
We have had a bit of rain over the last couple of days but today was eally nice and I got my washing done. It gets cool quickly though, usually around 3.30 pm
Damien is over in Perth at the moment. He has been to Friends, Mandurah and tonight he is at Joondalup and tomorrow night it is Bridgetown.
I think that's about it. I hope you, your daughter and Mum are going well.

Hi braff, sorry haven't been in but now my puta won't even load the boards :(.... I think I may need to put it in to be given an overhaul... Cos it's not the only page it won't open ...it's just one of many ...sadly it's even being weird about my speakers now ...sometimes they are so loud I have to turn them down....other times they can't be heard when turned up to the highest settling ...and it's not the speakers cos they are relatively new.
hope all is ok with mr braff now..and he didn't share his germs with you LOL
my missy had her first 'bout' in Roller Derby on Saturday nite..she did really well... Managed to be on the winning team.

I was at the Doctors this afternoon and Mr Braff picked up and Australian Geographic magazine from Nov/Dec 2012 and there was a several pages article on the Roller Derby in Australia. I didn't read it but looked over Mr Braff's shoulder to see some of the pictures etc. I don't know if you or your daughter were aware of the story.

5 weeks until we go away. It is coming around really quickly. My son got back from Hawaii on Tuesday night. He had a short get away with his girlfriend. I still have his cases in the loungeroom.

I havent been able to get in here at all ......and then found out that the powers that be were changing it again and had locked the usual threads and had a temporary board up ..... couldnt be bothered with it then .... but thought I would give it a shot today to see if it loaded and what state it was in .....
not impressed with the new look ....and all the other nonsense they have put on the pages ..... grrrr why do they have to change things that arent broken .... X-(
hmmm interesting I will give her the link to have a looksee ..... she actually has another bout tonite (her second) .... she is in a team called The Electric Screams ..... and yes does wear the warpaint LOL ..... will try and find a piccie to post for you to see .... she has heaps on her fb page .... they play a team called The Sonic Doom ..... and last bout they crushed them by about 100 points ... she was sooooo excited LOL ..... mum & I go and watch and support her .... then we leave to go home and she goes out with the girls to celebrate ..... now that I dont have to wait for her its much better .... and she is a good driver ....doesnt drink when driving cos she thinks if you do youre stupid ..... ahhhh so glad she listens to her mum ๐

mum had a lovely day ..... on the sunday before all the family went out to a chinese restaurant for dinner .... it was lovely .... even her sister came and then caught a taxi home afterwards ..... then on the wednesday her birthday .... my 2 sisters & I took her out for lunch .... and my daughter managed to also come and have lunch with us ....
we bought her a new microwave .... my sister and I installed it before she went to pick up her daughter from school .... then before I left I thought I would see how it heated stuff so mum didnt need to read the whole book of instructions .... and when I attempted to heat something up .... all it did was countdown ..... only had a timer on all the buttons .... grrrr .... so I rang Big W (where we bought it) ..... and they said I could swap it at a different store .... so went over and swapped it ....got a new one and she is happy although she did say it wasnt revolving ..... so hoping it was just an adjustment of the plate inside that was needed ....
well better go hang out the washing .... wont hang itself ....

I can still get in here ..... Im gobsmacked to say the least LOL
well bout went well ... but missy's team lost this one ... by about 40 points .... so now that leaves the grand final to be held on 24th August .... with both teams going in at one a piece .... so the game is up for grabs .... ๐
goodness its been cold over here lately .... missy even had to scrape ice off her windscreen a couple of times this week ..... never had that before .... well not in a long time .... my car was okay as it was in the garage ....thank goodness LOL
well mum has finally caved in ..... she is talking all things trip related ... even went into a travel agents last sunday to enquire about the fare cost .... to gauge what the difference between them booking it and me booking it .... turns out quite a bit .... about $200 odd each persons fare .... ๐ฎ all the airfares & hotel room costs have risen a slight bit from our last trip ... which I booked roughly a year ago ....
mum thought we had booked in about june last year ... checked on the emails of confirmation and nope it was around 10 - 15th july .... so right on track as per the last trip bookings .... LOL so as soon as they go down ..... or if they dont change in the next couple of weeks I will be booking them all again .... we are going to try a different hotel in bangkok .. and not going to chiang mai this time .... but the same hotel in pattaya (as its central, nice, reasonably priced) the other hotels near are much pricier and some dont even have a twin bed room option .... which mum & aunt need .... doesnt matter for me ... I have the double/queen option or the twin option ... will let you know when I finally book it ... LOL
