Oh Peela how darned annoying that you were there so late on Friday. I know that Missy hated being on the late shift because there was a parent that would always turn up right on 6 (closing time) and then want to go into big discussions about the progress of their child etc. Missy was only a junior but she was still there until the parent left.
I hope your hours get more reasonable and that the staff all return from being ill.
My friend and I have met Damien's Mum before (we went pubbing once after a concert that she was out here for). We didn't know that she was back out here so it was a really nice surprise when she walked up to us to say hello. That was only her 2nd concert of Damien's - the first one being the night we went to the pub.
Damo has just announced tour dates in WA. 23, 24, 25 and 26 May. Friends Restaurant is the one in central Perth. There is also Mandurah, Bridgetown and Joondalup.

I grew up next door to the guy that owns Friends Restaurant , I know they love damien agt the restaurant, my mum usually goes to a show.... she went to lonnie lee recently and has also seen the platters (I think thats their name) there also ...
well was on lates again this week .... luckily no parents needing to pay a late fee although a couple came close .... you know what annoys me .... parents who arrive at a reasonable time and sit in their car on the phone or whatever until its almost closing time at 6-30pm .... they wander down the hall at about 6-25pm .... after sitting in their cars for about 15-30 mins .... grrrr ... I know they pay until we close but surely you wanna spend some time with your children .... these are the ones that drop their kids off before 7am in the morning.... some just after we open at 6-30am ..... too sad really ... ๐
on earlies next week ... LOL ...still doing the lates/earlies rotation .... until someone else gets their certificate ...both the girls Ive been covering have theirs ... LOL ... but with me covering for one of them then that still means only 2 of us ๐

Thanks Peela. I had a lazy Easter. Just stayed home but went out on Saturday night. Last minute decision. Meant I had to go and put a bra on lol.

a long week of earlies ,.... got an early on monday .... as they are having a staff meeting and girl doesnt want to go all the way home at 3pm .... only to have to come back at 6-30pm for the meeting (which I dont have to attend) ๐ ............so Im doing her early for her on monday ... and lates the rest of the week ...
