Yes I can surely relate to what u r going thru Icy,although it was my darling dad that passed:-(I kinda think that maybe hell is here and paradise is waiting on the other side....I`m sure you will be with your mum again oneday:-)

I hope you have friends and family around you at this difficult time........sounds like you and your mum had a special relationship, cherish your memories of the times you had.

I have a very troubled relationship with my mother, she lives 15minutes away and we don't speak often, only seeing each other at christmas and b'days, we get on better that way. Sad I know but that's the way it is.

Sorry if this sounds wrong but you're very lucky. Hope you understand what I mean.:-x

Nic I know what you mean re paradise and hell. Mum had a long and productive life, but lost a lot of her faculties toward the end, which sent her into deep depression. Actually, I'm really I'm happy for her that she's at peace and in no more pain now.

Barks I'm sorry to hear your relationship is strained with your mother, that's the way it goes sometimes, sadly. My daughter and I went through an unhappy time with each other at one stage, but managed to put our bad feelings aside and are comfortable in each other's company now. Unfortunately she lives far away in Mackay and I only get to see her and the grandkids once a year. Such is life I guess.
