I thought I had posted this question already but cant find it!
ok I listed 3 brooches using the previous template for rings - I overlooked changing the category - my listing was almost immediately removed by ebay & I was sent a sten email stating I was in violation of ebays listing policies & my rating reduced from very high to LOW - I was quite shaken by the stern response from ebay it was an innocent genuine mistake on my behalf - I have never violated any policies with ebay in the many years I have been with them & my rating will remain low until March 2013 - I am upset by this reaction - & would like to appeal - my feedback rating is excellent I pride my self on honesty - & decency to my customers - I think this action by ebay on me is harsh?
also I tried calling ebay customer service operators on the numbers provided & they are "disconnected" is it a US phone number - many thanks for any help/feedback Annie
There was a policy compliance level lowered on a site I ebay sit for and there was nothing wrong with the listing and there were hundreds of the same item listed that were never removed.
I told this to ebay and told them to look and to restore the rating.
They said yes it was an error on their behalf and they never did restore it and it lasted for 6 months.
